AGRICULTURAL & SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD

Agriculture in Bangladesh is not just a way of life; it's the backbone of our nation's prosperity and food security.

Bangladesh faces challenges in its agriculture sector, including land degradation, water scarcity, and climate change impacts. These issues threaten the sustainability of livelihoods for millions of farmers and can disrupt food security and economic stability. Sustainable solutions are vital to address these pressing concerns.

SMKK focuses on enhancing livelihoods through a multifaceted approach. This includes agricultural and technical training, capacity building in various income-generating activities, support for farming and non-farming initiatives, climate-smart agriculture practices, market linkages, and financial aid. The program addresses both agricultural and non-farming aspects, creating climate-resilient livelihoods by promoting sustainable practices and facilitating access to markets for food and non-food products.
