Bangladesh's coastal and port gateway — home to the world's largest refugee response in Cox's Bazar. SMKK runs humanitarian and development programmes across Chattogram Division's 11 districts, from the port city itself to the hill tracts and the Rohingya refugee camps of Ukhiya.
In the coastal and hill-tract landscape of Chattogram Division, SMKK has been a dynamic force for change — making a profound impact across districts including Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Comilla, Feni and Noakhali. Since the Rohingya influx of August 2017, SMKK has provided sustained humanitarian support to Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) and host communities at the Balukhali and Kutupalong camps in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar, alongside its wider development work across the division.
SMKK is advancing forward with a view to implement Short Range and Long-Range Broad-Spectrum planning and seeking funding support from potential donors (Individual, Corporate and Institutional) for FDMN and Host Community. SMKK looks for Eyecare Project for FDMN at Balukhali Camps in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, Expansion of Maternal & Child Health and Nutrition Program for FDMN and host community in Cox’s Bazar district in Bangladesh, Prevention of early child marriage and awareness on Adolescent reproductive health for the FDMN, Develop and implement Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) project for the FDMN and host community, Child and special needs people care comprehensive project to protect child abuse, child labor and supporting special needs people.

Since the influx of Rohingya in August 2017, SHEBA MANAB KALLYAN KENDRA-SMKK is providing humanitarian supports for the Rohingya victims at Balukhali and Kutupalong camps in Ukhiya under Cox’s Bazar district of Bangladesh. SMKK has established strong relationships with Local Government, CiC, Site Management, UN-Agencies and various Local and International organization in Cox’s Bazar. As of till date the details activities for the Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) and host community are outlined as follows

3. Distribution of Umbrella, Torch Light and Hygiene Kits.
4. Garbage Clean (Solid waste management)
5. Repair and maintenance to nonfunctional Tube well for functional under WASH Project.
6. Food & Nutrition through rooftop gardening and tree plantation.
